The key to a good relationship is something everyone looks for in life, whether it’s a relationship with your parents, a friend, or a boyfriend or girlfriend. Many different items that make up a good relationship include trust, support, communication, respect, loyalty and many others too. It’s the combination of a little bit of all of them that makes for a grand relationship with another person. A relationship can have a big effect on a person 's life both positive and negative. You 'll have both amazing times, and also some awful times too. The good times can transform you into a better person, but the bad times can change you into a person you’ll regret being in the future. The ability to trust someone is a right in my eyes, and it 's something you have to earn. I think parents portray this one very well with children. In order for kids to do something they must earn it. Also, you must tell your parents exactly what you 're doing or else you can lose their trust if they find out differently. The problem with trust is that it 's so easy to lose, because it 's everyone 's sensitive spot. Losing trust is one of the worst things someone can go through, because without trust there 's never a good atmosphere in the relationship. It goes along with both trust and respect for one another, but at the same time, it 's all on its own. Loyalty can honestly make or break a relationship so fast it 's not even funny. It 's extremely hard for anyone to be with someone who talks behind their back, or cheats on them. It’s what puts that person who 's the victim in an extremely hard situation. Do I forgive them and act like nothing happened? Do I just end things and forget about our past?
