Reflective Essay: The Importance Of Taking Test

Many people approach tests in many different ways. For instance, there are people who are relaxed and have confidence in themselves. While in the other hand, the other people are nervous and stressed on what is going to be on the test or even just the score they will earn. The way I approach tests is with confidence because a person should never doubt themselves no matter what type of situation you are in. In addition, I always say to myself “If I pass I pass if I fail well then try again”. My mentally is everybody’s future is already laid out, we just do not know how it is going to be or when it is going to happen. In fact, when I study for the material and comprehend the curriculum taught during the session I gain more confidence in myself. As stated in Chapter 5 “Taking Test” know what you are preparing for because if you prepare and understand the curriculum most likely you will earn a good grade on the test. My first memory I recall taking a test would be in my kindergarten class. I do remember my kindergarten teacher Mr. King saying “This is your first test.” …show more content…
As a matter of fact, I believe essay test show that you inquired the knowledge that you were supposed to acquire during the class sessions. In addition, essay test are based more on critical thinking. I am the type of student who likes to think outside the box. Another reason why essays are really helpful is because it helps and shows the teacher or the professor that the student has actually been paying attention in class not only that, but it also gives insight of the student to the professor or teacher because if the student passes the test with a really good grade this shows that the student.
