In this portfolio is my definition pattern, teacher edited essay from a journal called “What Makes a Good Friend” by Alex Lickerman. The essay explains that everyone has their own criteria for what makes their best friend. I choose this essay for the simple fact that this subject is something I can personally reflect from. I recently served five years in the Marine Corps and true friends is something I take seriously. This essay started from an outline and then four copies later I was able to produce a final draft.
