What is Health? In order for one body to perform accurately, then he or she must keep their health at its accurate performance. By being healthy, one is avoiding everything that harms he or she bodies by performing all of the right things that are provided to keep their bodies performing its normal functions or better. To become healthy is one of the best decision any human being could make because he or she is deciding to be fit physically, emotionally, socially, and mentally throughout their everyday lives. The word “health” derives from the Old English word hale meaning "wholeness, being whole, sound or well," (Nordqvist). It basically consists of how fit one is and/or what one chooses to eat throughout their everyday life. If one chooses to be physically heathy, one has to avoid eating a lot of starchy foods, breads, or even a lot of sugars and/or carbohydrates. These things can contribute to health illnesses and cause major problems for the body like diabetes, cancer, acne, weight gain, and even damages towards an individual’s teeth. However, to be mentally and socially fit depends on the way a person exercises their minds. What do I mean by the way a person exercises their minds? To exercise one’s mind depends on the way a person controls his or her emotions. Being stressed daily, having mixed emotions, and getting angry easily are terrible things when it comes to being healthy. What one eats also depends on the way a person exercise their minds. Education is the key to success and it can affect the income anyone has. If most people have good income, it prevents stressing and gives them the opportunity to have a stable living or afford things they want or need. Adding on to all this, having supportive family members or friends can also trigger to one having great health and getting one’s daily check-ups or seeing a doctor helps to keep one informed on what maybe going on with he or she body.
