What is family? When people hear the word family they automatically think mother, father, children, aunts, uncles and grandparents, but the true meaning of Family in the dictionary is: a group consisting of parents and children living together in a household or descendants of a common ancestor. It’s one of the most important social group that one can belong to because people learn their values and the meaning of life. Family are the ones that teach each other about life and how and what to expect when starting a family of their own. They also are the ones that get together around the dinner table during the holidays, birthday celebration or life achievements and spend time communicating and congratulating the family members success. Sadly throughout the decades the meaning of family and how they spent their time with each other changed little by little and this is due to economics, technology and marriage status. Parents would teach their children how life would be like and all the responsibilities that he or she gets once they became older. They would also start them at a young age working around the house or going out to look for a side job that paid them a few cents for cleaning the neighbor’s yard of leaves or picking up items from the store for whomever. So as the children get older they would go out seeking for a real job, later find a partner to settle down with and get married. Then they would move out and start a family of their own and that is when they learn…
