As the time of a freshman, I was approached by a young adult leader that was facilitated with Young Life. In the beginning I had numerous questions I did not know the answer to. She introduced me to the club talks and bible studies and after a few months I decided I would get more active in this organization. I was invited to attend a summer camp at Rockbridge. I was indecisive at first, but decided to go for it. A week worth of bible studies, cabin times, and building new relationship was definitely worth the visit. Coming home back to reality was a major struggle in trying to succeed with my new commitment with faith that I had created over the course of seven days. Although, camp had transformed me into a new individual, so I wanted to spread the word to others about God. My life was complete chaos before experiencing the connection. This changed my perspective and morals that this world casts at me. I was told that I never had to do life on my own and I had taken this into consideration.
A selection of decisions must be chosen from the challenges life offers me. Adversity will be a daily lifestyle that must be conquered. The boiling water in my life is temptations, society, and negativity. Being a coffee bean presents a new perspective on how I view things that happen in life. Elevating to another level is how you should respond to situations, rather than bringing you down. Let the circumstances
