The team’s 4 years of survey has been very fruitful and uncovered 15 possible Neolithic monuments, gaps in the ditch that might have been used as channels to guide people through the cursus, and a very large pit in the eastern end of the ditch which is likely to have a ritual meaning rather than any practical use.
