What Leadership Mean To Me

What is leadership and how does it apply in our lives? First leadership is am act of leading guidance and direction. Leadership is something that can be done with the slightest of actions or emotions. It is something that people see and they feel that they can follow he or she and they can put there trust in you. It's also something that doesn't just come to people. It's a situation where you can't be a leader if you can't relate to the people you are trying to lead. You have to have that knowledge of what's happening to them because you have gone through the it too and that's when they will really trust you because you can finally relate.

Back to my football team I have been trying to build relationships with some of the other players I do not know as good because I won't be able to lead if I don't know the needs of the people I am trying to lead on the field. Also another thing I am trying to critique in my role as becoming a leader is my actions on and off the field. I am not gonna go anywhere if I am a hypocrite where I say one thing to my team and go do another. I talk about football so much because it's a brotherhood I'm writing about just not another group of guys. And we are all striving to achieve the one common goal of a state championship. And when you play football it's a lot of ups and down and highs and lows but one of the biggest things you face as a team is adversity in my opinion.
