Taking a stand means to adopt a firm position or thought about something, and to stand up for what you believe is right. Taking a stand is about having the strength within to fight for what you want in life. By standing for something, people will or won't agree with your ideals. Having people against your ideals, doesn't mean you need to quit or that you will lose. It's about what you want!

Making a stand helps you to explore your inner self, to enforce your beliefs and confidence, and it helps you to find direction in everything you do; life. It transforms people, and the world.
Putting as an example Dr. Luther King: even when the USA's government was against his ideas and what he said to the citizens, he took a stand! Never giving up,
