Dave Barry takes us through examples of what guy tendancies are but, never can quite explain, why? He freely admits this when he wrote, "And what, exactly, do I mean by "guys"? I don't know." Through the organization of ideas and examples he does, however, provide us with a sort of abstract understanding of, 'guys.'
Guys liking neat stuff seems to mean that guys have an eternal urge to 'tinker' with gizmos and hardware, aided with more power than is needed. Next we venture on pointless challenges, which seems to nourish some kind of competitive nature within them, but with no obvious goal in mind. Lastly we delve into a sort of code of conduct which he explains in comparison with his unruly dog.
