A personal quality, if I can call it that, which has become obvious to me only in recent years, is that I am an International student. This does not mean that I am not capable of achieving the same things, if not more, as a student who is from this country. Come to think of it, I believe I am quite the achiever. I am an expert swimmer, winning the bronze medal in the 50 meter freestyle event. I am a green belt in karate. I act in theater. I practice mixed martial arts. I have varied work experience. Even so, I have had to struggle to integrate myself into my current academic environment, and this was a great character building experience for me.
