What Is Your Most Meaningful Accomplishment

I am tempted to say that my most meaningful accomplishment is graduating college but that would not be true. My most meaningful accomplishment is the work I have done during my AmeriCorps Service year volunteering at a New York City Charter School. The school I am at has a class named goal setting, which focuses on encouraging students to take ownership of their education, build important life skills and set goals that will help them achieve success. I am goal setting tutor, which means that I serve as a mentor to a group of five students. I help my students set weekly goals for school, I advocate for them when they are talking to teachers and staff, I give them advice and help them work on problem solving skills.
