When I hear the N- word, I take it as an offense as well even though I'm not African-American. Especially when it ends with the suffix -er, I get very offended because it is disrespectful, unethical, insensitive, and evil/ I take it as a very racist comment/word.
Think about and share the places or circumstances when you have seen or heard the n-word. You might consider works of literature, music, graffiti, films, comedy shows, casual conversation among African-American students or casual conversation among students.
I've seen the N-word on restroom stalls, social media post, and I've heard it in music and others casually talking to one another especially people who are African-American and aren't.

1b . Is there a place for the N-word in today society?
I do not think there should be a place for the N-word in today society. It is on ethical and disrespectful like I said before. I feel like it's remaining venom for the past; we shouldn't keep bringing it up. There are the worst to be used in order to express emotions to one another, whether if it's in casual conversations or professional conversations – we all should learn other vocabulary terms to address one another that isn't offensive in order to banish the N-word completely.
