Cultural Identity Do you celebrate any holidays almost the same way each year? In my case, I celebrate Christmas Eve and Christmas day the same way once a year. My personal favorite part about this holiday is talking and getting advice from my older cousins about anything that is on my mind. I hope when my younger relatives grow up, they can rely on me for advice and information on topics just as I do with my older cousins. I think it is interesting seeing how my family tree advances and how it updates each year with changes such as births and people growing up. I hate when funerals and death gets brought up at family events because it makes me very sad and wishes the person could be with us to celebrate and enjoy Christmas traditions. Christmas is very essential to me personally and without it, I don’t think there would be another time I would be able to see all the people that I want to
