Health means more than a state of the body: “Taking care of your mental and physical health is just as important as any career or responsibility”. My physical health is something that has always concerned me. As a child, I was an average weight child, I never had any physical problems with my health until I turned 12yrs old. Once I turned 12yrs, I gained so much weight that at age 13 I was weighing 190lbs. When my parents separated I did lost some pounds, but not much. I went from 190lbs to 179lbs. I have not used the pumpkin spice coffee creamer either that I usually buy. I have had my coffee once a day in the morning with no sugar or creamer. In addition, I’m using MyFitnessPal application which helps me to count my calories daily. It’s very useful, especially when, like me, having a busy …show more content…
In the mornings I focused on my legs using certain workouts that would aim all my muscles of my legs. On Tuesdays and Thursdays I would do an hour of cardio at the Bow Creek Recreational Center. However, I had the choice of doing a DailyBurn workout plan at home, which is a workout program online. In addition, everything I ate I was adding in MyFitnessPal application which helps to control calorie intake. I actually accomplished my goal for the first week, but I had more weeks to

After considering my current fitness level and formulating a plan with a reward system to get back in shape, I then analyzed my diet by keeping a food diary. After the calculations were completed, I first looked at my total amount of calorie intake, based on off my age, height, sex, and activity level. With that, I was shocked to discover that I actually consumed fewer calories than what is recommended.…
