What Is Wade's Role In Real Life

In section 1 of ready player one we meet the main character Wade. We are introduced into the story by hearing about the hunt. We learn about all the details and why and how it started. We learned that Wade dedicates most of his time to learning about all the details that he might need to find the prize. We are introduced to wades “family”. We find out that his dad is dead and that his mother had died from an overdose. He is now living with his pants who doesn’t even care that he’s there, she’s just letting him stay there so she can get his food tickets. We find out about wades secret hideout and how he plays his OASIS in there. We learned that the oasis is a giant virtual world that players can basically live in. Wade is on a quest to find the hidden treasure left behind in a video game by its maker. If you look at where Wade is actually living in the real world compared to where he is exploring in the virtual reality you notice that they are very different.Wades actual life is spent living in the stacks, which are trailer is stacked on top of each other up to 20 high. He he lives with his aunt who uses him for money. He is borderline abused by his “Family“. Now in the oasis he is available to explore vast utopias. There are hundreds upon hundreds of planets for him to explore in this virtual world. His options are limitless. But in reality his home life and his virtual life aren’t as different as they initially seemed. In his home life he is stuck in his trailer with his aunt there are hundreds upon hundreds of planets for him to explore in this virtual world. His options are limitless. But in reality his home life in his virtual life aren’t very different. In his home life he is stuck in his trailer with his aunt. He can’t go anywhere else and he doesn’t want to be where he is. His life is very similar in the oasis. Like in his real life, in the oasis he has no money, he is poor. He has no way to get to any other planets because he has no money.
