What Is Too Much Sucrose?

The body needs a certain amount of glucose on a daily basis, but too much can cause some harm. Sucrose naturally occurs in plants, but is able to be refined into table sugar and is used for baked goods. Too much sucrose to the body can cause high blood sugar. Even though sucrose has not been refined to high fructose corn syrup, it still counts as fat. Glycerol is used to store fatty acids causing the storage of fat cells to increase. Even though, glucose is needed in our bodies and is used later, too much of it can be consumed and stored away causing fat cells to be created. Amino acids can improve the baking quality and can cause some fats to be stored away. This cake mix is not totally fat-free, it has less fat in it than regular cake mix.
