To kill a mockingbird by Harper Lee. I think the meaning of the title to kill a mockingbird is a mockingbird itself is a delicate, peaceful, innocent, and pleasant animal, what I think it means is that characters like Boo Radley and Thomas Robinson the story gives you two examples of bad people. This makes you think that which character is a mockingbird and to kill a mockingbird means which one loses their innocence that is the one who is killed and the one who lives is the mockingbird. This gives the reader a sense of confusion while thinking about this question because they can almost decide whether which character is the mockingbird Boo Radley or Thomas Robinson.

Tom Robinson is a physically handicapped man almost like Boo in a sense Tom is also a racist man who the town treats Tom with almost as much hatred or prejudice as Boo Radley.

In this journal I will be predicting the case verdict in pages 208- 281. The first thing that I predict is that the Ewell’s will lose this case. For instance I think they will lose is because Atticus got evidence from when Mr. Ewell is on the stand he is left-handed. I infer form this evidence that he beat up Mayella because people who are left-handed beat up the right side of someone. I think her dad raped her because when he was on the stand from the text of the book it seemed as if he knew exactly what happened.…
