The end of the book really stayed true to the author's main points with the ending battle scene the whole squad sacrificed everything to hold the bridge from the German pluton which also took a lot of bravery. I also think the author did a good job in saying farewell to all the characters that did not make it to the end of the story each character died doing something that really changed the whole story and affected the group majorly.
I think the author did a very good job at keeping things as real as possible and accurate. You can really tell that the author knows what he's talking about and you can tell that the author has a certain passion for this time in history by how much detail and descriptive words he uses in this book.
All in all Saving Private Ryan is a book about a group of soldiers during World War ll overcoming many obstacles to fulfill a signal goal. This book is fantastic with all the action heart felt moments and how accurate it really is with history. I would recommend this book to
