This response letter belongs to Brittany Jacques’ story “In Memory.” The story is about a woman named V, writing a letter to her lover M and remembering the last day they spend together. The story’s theme is about the hardships of seen someone you love, leave. The story has a lot of things that are just great. For starters, the usage of one letter for names of the characters was just an interesting approach. It is something that I don’t see too often. I know how difficult is to give characters names, I experience this problem a lot. The second thing I enjoyed while reading was the emotions. The emotions projected from V and M were very good.
