"The Kite Runner" by Khaled Hosseini has many themes throughout the book but I think the biggest theme that was shown more was Betrayal making it a notable theme. Amir played a big role in betraying someone. The plot of The Kite Runner revolves around the betrayal of Amir’s best friend. In a way, this betrayal drives the rest of the book and perhaps everything that precedes it. Betrayal is consistently shown throughout the novel from Amir but as the story goes on Amir has a chance to be good again and redeem himself from the past on how he treated Hassan.
