This study also focused on a college campus, meaning that the participants all had a higher level of education, which may have affected the results. The campus is mostly made up of females, which lowers the ability to get male participants. There is also the possibility that such a strong female presence on campus could lead to a skewness of results, this is a possibility because the males who participated may feel the need to have a positive response to females. The variables in thus test also did not have a high enough Cronbach’s alpha for the two variables was not strong enough to combine the variables, this shows that the variables could be changed to make them stronger, which might change the results. This study did not look at a large population. Also the information found in this study was found using a nonparametric test, which is because the data was not normally distributed. The use of the nonparametric test shows that the information found in this study cannot apply to a large population due to the lack of normality among the variables. This study might have been significant, however to find out this study must be done with more participants and for the moderation to be significant there need to be more male …show more content…
A college education could change the way that participants view females in professional roles, particularly if the participants have had a woman’s studies class, or a similar class that discusses gender roles. This study also only focused on students who were between the ages of eighteen and twenty-two, future research can look at a range of different ages to see if the different generations of people have different implicit association of age.
