During World War II, there exist an ongoing supply and demand crisis. Many foods were limited and rationed, only available at fixed amounts. Items such as bacon, butter and sugars were all rationed. In addition, certain foods such as fresh vegetables and fruit weren’t rationed however were available at limited quantities. Food items such as meat, tea, jam, biscuits, breakfast cereals, cheese, eggs, lard, milk and canned and dried fruit were often apart schemes.
Because of World War II, many defense factories weren’t available. By February 1942, all production
