Abraham Lincoln was born on February 12th, 1809 to Thomas Lincoln and Nancy Hanks. He then leaped down onto the stage and shouted “Sic Semper Tyrannis”. A twenty-three year old doctor named Charles Leale who was in the audience came to help the president. Booth had managed to escape the theater with a broken leg. He made it out of Washington D.C. and into Virginia without being caught.
