Teaching cursive writing in public schools is a heated topic amongst teachers and has been debated for several years, but it is clear that cursive writing should not be taught to students in this new progressive generation. Although supporters of teaching cursive writing have brought up that it stimulates more parts of the brain than typing does, that is not enough reason to waste the time of students who will almost never use that knowledge again.
