Trump has made it very clear that he wants to repeal and replace Obamacare. One of Trump’s biggest mottos based on the health care is that he “will not let people die on the streets,” he also says we need to take care of our own who can’t take care of themselves. It’s pretty much an all or nothing kind of ordeal going on. He wants to keep protections so that people with pre-existing conditions cannot be denied health insurance. He has made a call for medicaid to be transformed into a state block grant program and for the tax exemption on employer-based health insurance plans to be extended to individuals who purchase coverage on their own both longstanding.
