The novel Lord of the Flies by William Golding unveiled the actions of human nature. The novel showed how anyone could act in a savage manner. This was shown in this passage as the savages hunted Ralph down. The savages chased down Ralph, dropped rocks on him, and even went to such extents to burn down the forest just to harm Ralph.
