5. Describe the most significant challenge you have faced and the steps you have taken to overcome this challenge. How has this challenge affected your academic achievement?

Early on, finding the right opportunities to gain knowledge of computer science posed a significant challenge for me. My schools offered computer science courses only during the senior years, so I had to overcome this challenge alone by exploring resources beyond the school. I am the first person in my family to pursue a college education in the USA and my first-generation immigrant parents had limited awareness of educational options outside high school.

I had to explore a multitude of options by searching the internet, contacting colleges, and by clarifying my doubts
