For centuries, death has been the price to pay for crimes. From thievery, adultery, murder, treason, and even witchcraft, death was awarded to all who paid the price of evil. So for the Christians who believe in revenge, maybe they will remember the teachings of their Christ and Savior. Even Hammurabi’s Code of Law uses the mentality of an eye for an eye, and has set the foundation for laws and ethics for early civilizations. As those were earlier times, when Man was more animalistic and beast like in mentality, should current day society follow the role of our predecessors and succumb to that method of law, and remain stuck in the moral state we have remained in for over a thousand years regarding criminals?
