Macbeth is the reason I found this play interesting and intense because I could see where he is coming from in the story. I don’t justify what he did, but I know it wasn’t really his fault since his wife brought him on to it. I don't really think it was his fault because he was just doing this for his wife. The moral of the story would have to be “don’t be ambitious” or “don’t act on your ambition”. It almost seems like the biblical people in Genesis: Adam & Eve, both went through the same situation just like Macbeth and Lady Macbeth did. In the drama, Macbeth, Lady Macbeth tempted Macbeth into being someone who he obviously wasn’t. The same thing happened in Genesis; the serpent tempted Eve into telling her she was ignorant just like Lady Macbeth tempted Macbeth by questioning his manhood. What did we learn from these two very similar plots? We learned that people shouldn’t give into peer pressure. Do you think Macbeth’s conscious drives him crazy to the point he can’t take it anymore?
