The text that I am going to analyze in this work has been extracted from the movie “The Shawshank Redemption”. This film tells the story about Andy Dufresne, a respectable accountant who is unfairly accused of murdering his wife and sentenced to imprisonment for life. He is sent to Shawshank prison, where he meets Red, an old man who has spent more than a half of his life living there.
