I have chosen the Monkey’s paw for my compare and contrast essay. The plot of the essay was well represented in the story where one could follow along, thus I liked the story. Considering the play too, the play was not as well represented because it is harder to make a scene than to write about it. Including both the play and the story I thought that the story was better because the actions going on were much better explained and the climax had more suspense. In order for the play to become better they need better props and make the plays longer so they can go into more detail of all that is happening.
