One book that I believe everyone should read is Harper Lee’s To Kill a Mockingbird because it reveals a truth that everyone should implement into their daily life. The message of greatest importance that it conveys it that “you never really understand a person until you consider things from [their] point of view... Until you climb inside of [their] skin and walk around in it” (Lee). Harper Lee essentially teaches her audience that viewing life solely from a personal perspective is limited. Humans possess complex characteristics, and it is unfair to view others with a ‘one-minded’ type of attitude.
