Growing up on of the biggest influences in our life is the media, the media shapes our perception of the world around us. From the idea of what beauty is to our political views. In a study on fifth graders, 10-year-old girls and boys told researchers they were dissatisfied with their own bodies after watching a music video by Britney Spears or a clip from the TV show "Friends". I carried on the theme of missed-match beauty in my second poem which is a haiku. The haiku is structured to represent the fact even though all haikus are different they have the identical structures. Just like growing up. We all grow up different but it's still the same process for us
