For Walter I used four different images to capture a portion of his testimony about mementos he has kept. First I have an image of an armband with the star of David that he received from his mother and kept as a reminder of his religion (segment 61). Secondly, I used an image of a white hand holding a locket. I used the locket in two different images to capture the same theme. In one image the all white hand represents purity and innocence. In the other image the locket is in a bed of flowers. Flowers usually connate beauty, growth, and blossoming of something new. The locket itself is from Walter’s past when he was first in love (segment 68). Young love conjures up images of happiness and the flower represents budding young love that is beautiful,
