One day you’re seventeen and planning for someday and then quietly, without ever really noticing someday is yesterday and this is your life.” No one knows when he or she going to take their last sip of coffee, or speak to their child for the last time. Overlooking these moments is almost as equivalent to overlooking what makes you, you. I took a lesson from this unfortunate event to help mold me as a more appreciative person. To start counting my blessings everyday, being thankful that I woke up this morning, and that I get to see all of my friends faces to start off my days. I started to appreciate these things more than I ever had because I now knew how important they truly are. After all, one never knows what the game of life is going to throw at them tomorrow, or even if they get to see what it will
