The Legend of the Sea
The Kraken a once feared name now in deemed a legend but its legend does still have a tale. Like how the squid could devour ships with their crew and similarities it has to the Architeuthis Dux a real squid that lives today.
The Kraken is a Nordic legend that started around the 1180. At the time it was believed to live in the waters from Norway and Iceland. Although it doesn't haunt the seas from dawn to dusk it sometimes stirs up fish from the depths on occasion. This makes quite the catch for any fishermen who would be crazy or daring enough to get close.
The Krakens size and characteristics is not said in stone but, in the old tales it is said that it can drag
