The Korean-American War The Korean American War was one of the well known wars from the past. It was a war that was trying to be prevented, but when war is coming you can 't prevent it you can just get ready for it. It was a nice little invasion until America jumped in to help defend what we now call South Korea. This small battle between the North and the South of Korea started little, but when an additional country jumps in you can 't do much but call this war. The Korean War started when Korea was one solid country. Nowadays Korea is two separate countries. There is North Korea and there is South Korea. North Korea were more of trouble makers than anything else. North Korea didn 't have much and they were too lazy to do anything peaceful

The war just came from violence from two countries and two sides of one of them. Throughout this war there was what the Koreans, North and South, and the Americans called meets for peace. What occurred during this time was a few people from very high up in each of the three governments, would meet at the 38th parallel. The war lasted for two years before there was the final meet for peace, in 1952. That final meet for peace was the meet that was actually known as "The Meet for Peace."(Dunn) In Psalm 120:6 it says, "Too long have I lived among those who hate peace." When the North, South and America met for peace they were pretty much saying that. They all were not being peaceful, and have lived among that way for too long. So they came up for a solution by meeting for peace. After the war ended Korea divided up with and actual boarder, into two different countries called North Korea and South Korea. There was still lots of damage for a little while throughout Korea as a whole. The war didn 't take place right in the middle of civilization. The war mainly took place in mountains, isolated farms and abandon areas. This war wasn 't a very violent war compared to some of the other wars recorded in history. Today in the more civilized areas there are statues of where North Korean soldiers marched during the war, on their way down to the South.(History.com Staff) Throughout the war around two and a half million people lost their lives.(Millett) Some say two, three, even four million people lost their lives. Some people even say five million lost their lives, no one will ever know the right amount of people that died. All we know is that it was a mixture of soldiers, grown men and innocent civilians. All those lives gone just because of natural resources.(History.com Staff) When the Meet for Peace ended the war in 1952 and Korea divided into two separate countries there was no agreement for the future. They just wanted to end the war and the now three countries left it at that. That is one of the reasons why North Korea is more of a locked up country.(Millett) Why America and South Korea didn 't locked up like North Korea did?
