Technology has become a way of life in the modern world. Virtually no one does anything without the use of technology. You cannot escape it, it’s everywhere. It does make some tasks and other elements of life a lot easier. For example, you can now achieve an education via the internet. This once unheard of, but when incorporating the use of technology, it can be done. This is a wonderful advancement for people like me, who still have to maintain other aspects of life. I am grateful to have the opportunity to use technology to my advantage and pursue my education. Assignment 5.1
I am writing this paper to discuss how technology is helping me to advance myself. I spend many hours of the day doing various mundane tasks not realizing how daunting these tasks could really be if not from the advancement of technology. I could even have the difficult task of trying to report to class every day, while working a full time job. In this paper I will discuss several topics: how do I see myself now and moving forward in using technology for education and the workplace, what changes I think I will personally need to make sure I stay current with technology, and how I will make those changes.

So much in the world depends on technology and the more you know, the more vital you are to your surroundings. You can thrive in almost any setting be it the work place or school. I think I have begun to move forward already. I am able to fix issues that occur with my computer at work. And if it’s something that I can’t handle, I at least have the knowledge to explain better to the offsite IT Specialist what has happened. Because I have some new found knowledge, the IT Specialist can give me instructions on how to troubleshoot my computer issues. Thus far, it has been very successful! I attribute that success to my class here at the
