Teens who participate in sports tend to stay off the streets. When teens are in sports they cannot be on the streets because they are committed to sports. Sports take up a lot of time for teens. Sports required practice that is after school, and some cases before school. Even if there is no practice, teens still need time to work on their grades. Some teens can grow up without any direction or sense of purpose in life, but having a role model changes all of that. The reason why a teen will get into trouble is because he has no significant adult influence that is not a parent. Teens need some sort of encouragement from some adult figure or they are more likely to get into trouble. A coach can make a difference in the life of teen and make that teen feel like he is worth something. When a teen feels worthless he starts to do bad things.. The teen might want to skip school and hang around in the streets. A coach can come in to be that guide for teens and make them get out of trouble. Coach can make that teen stay of trouble with rules that requires them to specify not get into trouble. If a teen does not have a coach or an adult role model, the more likely he will get into
