Anyone can donate their organs to become a donor. There are no age limits on who can be an organ donor (Taranto). Young, old, small, or healthy can become a donor (Taranto). Newborns as well as senior citizens have been organ donors (Taranto). If you are younger than 18, you will need permission from a parent or a guardian to donate your organs (Taranto). If you are older than 18, you can tell them what you want to donate and then sign a donor card (Taranto). Donations are needed by people from every area of our nation (“Becoming…”). All individuals can indicate their intent to donate no one is pushing them to donate (“Becoming…”).
