These violence are categorized from less serious to very serious. According to Jo’s qualitative analysis, there was a massive amount of ferocious behaviour extending from homicide to offensive text messages to the incorrect person. Through quantitative analysis the offenders were categorized by the gender, ethnicity, age, and the location of offence, day of week and time of day. The result of this analysis projected that the highest gender of offenders were male, the highest gender of the victims were women, the age were in between 31 to 50 projected higher offence, the ethnicity of offender were Māori’s and the victims were mostly Europeans. The location was mostly in public places and the highest peak time was in between 6pm to 9pm. The highest percentage which is 18% to 20% of violence would occur in the weekends. The masses need to move above this platitudes as most of the continuous concern with media effects is reflecting on the changing culture of understandings and practices.
