Being awarded this scholarship will have a great impact on not only my educational career, but also my entire future. I am currently the only person in my immediate family who will have graduated high school, much less considered a college education. With that said, I have no way of paying for college except through scholarships and grants. I am the oldest of five children and with that comes extensive responsibilities. My parents have done their best to provide a great life for our family but financially, they are incapable of paying for my college education. I have worked hard for everything I have earned. Getting this scholarship will just add to how my hard work has paid off. A scholarship of this amount will help me pursue my dreams of
