The Odyssey Essay
When you ask a man what the ideal woman is, he will often tell you that she is physically attractive, confident, feminine, intelligent, and many other characteristics. In Homer’s The Odyssey, the characteristics of an ideal Greek woman is shown through Odysseus’s wife, Penelope. Penelope can be classified the ideal Greek woman because she is loyal, intelligent, and hospitable. These characteristics are shown throughout the entirety of this epic poem.
