In 1996, Kevin Plank, former football player of Maryland University, founded the Under Armour Company with an idea of making a T-shirt by synthetic fabric material. He also created a new T-shirt build from microfibers that wicked moisture and kept athletes dry and light, also implemented impressing design to them. Now the company is well known as supplier of sportswear and casual apparel. They also started offering footwear from 2006, and chosen Stephen Curry, who agreed to extend his contract through 2024 for nearly $4 million per year, as a brand image of basketball footwear. The Under Armour Company constantly growing since it was founded. It can be clearly seen from stock price, which was $5.63 in November 2005, and now it reached $92.38.
