Habitat for Humanity seeks to put God’s love into action they also bring people together by building homes, communities, and hope. They have 5 mission principles which are to demonstrate the love of Jesus Christ, focus on shelter, advocate for affordable housing, and promote dignity and hope and to support sustainable and transformational development. With these five principles they have accomplished and changed lives of many individuals over the years.
Segment the University
Segmenting is the process of identifying prospect publics and creating a cost-effective way to reach the identified publics. As the Habitat for Humanity coordinator, I would segment my target market by demographic, geographic, behavioral, and psychographic. For example

In order for the Habitat for Humanity to create a successful unique value proposition we will have to focus on branding. A brand is the collection of perceptions in the minds of the target publics based on how they value and relate to the organization’s overall mission, objectives, offers, and reputation (Wymer, 40). Having a positive brand value and strength needs to be earned by commitment, action and communication (Wymer, 40). We would have to start out with communicating to the publics and spreading the word about Habitat for Humanity and what our cause is. Using different social media platforms as advertising can also useful tactic. Once we get our name out there we will then set up at different venues where we will provide more information about Habitat for Humanity. At each venue there will be sign-up sheets for those who would like to be volunteers or …show more content…
Unlike any other NPO we want to stand out from others. Having a creative team and different marketing platforms with help with branding and creating a positive perception about our nonprofit. We will want the community to recognize us for what we stand for and believe in than just our powerful promotion campaigns.
Is it Feasible? In conclusion, this task is feasible because as long as my team and I go about everything in the write manner the outcome will be great! Though it may not be easy at first, but in the end everything will work out. With developing a segmentation market, a unique value proposition and branding our nonprofit. Implementing these different components as the coordinator I will have enough volunteers and donors to make sure that the task is carried out.
