People everyday question whether war or violence is the answer; many of those who express that war is always unjustifiable and will never be right have never witnessed nor taken part in an armed conflict. So to quote Ryan Job, a man who was wounded in action and died from his wounds while in surgery years later, said “Despite what your momma told you, Violence does solve problems.”; He made this statement to a young college girl who was against the war in Iraq, where Ryan was wounded and lost complete vision. So even though he has taken the toll of war he stood with his statement knowing that it is justifiable as it is a solution to potential problems that may come to a nation. Whether that be the survival of your nation, no other diplomatic options for an issue, and even in the interests of one’s country. War is always subjective, just as history is written and interpreted by the victor. War is without a doubt justifiable. Diplomacy is the main option of negotiations between countries, it is almost always the main …show more content…
As it being seen as one of the worst conflicts in the 20th century, not in the sense of life lost, but that war had a facade of it being a glorious thing to do for one’s country and then the Great War destroyed this facade as it showed the greatest waste of human life ever, but as whole war is subjective. People must see a silver lining in this dark dark cloud. For the Great War could be justified as it allowed for the curtain to fall and show the ugly truth of war. It was a key point in changing the world and its opinion on war, allowing it to no longer become a common occurrence, and by showing us the true horrors of war.
