The idea for my project came from the Pixar movie, “Finding Nemo”. My ecosystem is The Great Barrier Reef and this massive system can been seen from outer space. Its biome is the ocean, mainly the deep part. The Great Barrier Reef is the world's largest coral reef system composed of 2,900 plus individual reefs and 900 islands and stretches over 2,300 kilometres (1,400 mi). The Great Barrier Reef Marine Park Covers an area of over 344,400 square kilometres (133,000 sq mi). It is located in the Coral Sea, off the coast of Queensland, Australia. Some of the currents in the Great Barrier Reef are the East Australian Current and the South Equatorial Currents.
