What Is The Giver Ending

The giver Was a roller coaster there were ups and downs Like when Jonas was elected to be the next receiver that was like the highpoint a low point was when the jonas watches the release. The book was suddly but exciting it was the perfect book for any kid who wants a book that has a little bit of everything.

The end of the giver was complex, but wasn't hard to follow yes, Jonas went down the hill we all know this if you read the book, but you don't know where he went or if he survived the last thing he said was ‘’Behind him, across vast distances of space and time, from the place he had left he thought he heard music too. But perhaps it was only an echo’’ I think this means something it's not just him hearing an echo no it has a meaning.

I liked the ending of the giver. I think it was suddly it left the reader thinking and wanting more that's what i look for in endings. I want books to make me think and wonder and want more without that you don't really have an ending. The last paragraph was the best of all when he said ‘’Behind him, across vast distances of space and time, from the place he had left he thought he heard music too. But perhaps it was only an echo’’ That just makes my brain explode and wonder what it means and why he would say it. So yes i like the ending of the …show more content…
It had a plot and climax and all elements a book needs but it was more to me. It showed everything i want in a book it has suspense it has action it has horror it has sadness these thing make a story to me. I loved this book and would recommend it to anyone who is into a little bit of everthing type book. The giver is the type of book i would read for fun not for school but i would never found it for the school so i thank you. Overall everything about the book is great the intro is suddly the middle describes what is happening in the community and how things work. Then the end is where the suspense and action kicks in and that's when the magic happens.

The giver is a complicated but is worth reading. It is a great book for all to read . you can think of how book ends and you could think of how the community was started it a endless possible of how the book is written. So the book is overall well rounded out and can't be

The echo was perhaps strange, though Jonas had to check it out. After all, it was the first sound he heard that didn't involve Gabe whining or him shuddering due to the vast coldness of the winter breeze. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~ As Jonas and Gabriel tried to keep up to reach the unusual sound that was coming from above, he couldn't help but notice that the planes were starting to come back. Moreover, The Giver is such an extraordinarily intriguing science fiction, that I believe people across the world should have a chance to read it! Along with other books I have read, I came across numerous significant passages that relate to the theme of The Giver. Although, only one passage quickly grabbed my attention. I found that the passage was strong, bold, and gave the reader a little bit of an understanding of the overall message the author wanted the reader to receive.…

My prediction before beginning the book compare to what the book actually ended up being about was very different. My prediction had the main points of the story, but not the essential ones. I didn’t realize how dull and plain the community in the book until I read the first few chapters. There were no feelings and no love, it was just ridiculous. In addition, I wouldn’t have known that the Giver would know the horrible truth about the community and how science has taken over their lives.…

The Giver was written by Lois Lowry and was originally published in 1993. The book follows the story of a twelve year old boy named Jonas who lives in a dystopian world, in a place called ‘The Community’. I enjoyed reading this because there was a strong hidden message that carried on throughout the book. As a whole it was intriguing, but I found it slightly confusing because some details didn’t seem to have much of a connection to the overall story.…
