What Is The Gestation Year Of The Brain Coral

The gestation period for the Brain Coral is 10 to 11 months. The mating season is when the temperature rapidly increases or lunar cues. The female coral releases hundreds of eggs into the water. The eggs then flow with the water until a male brain coral releases sperm fertilizing the eggs. When the babies are born they are in larva form.The babies go down to find a place to sit and there they grow. The babies then care for themselves the rest of their life.
